I'm sorry, but this is the only valid joystick for an authentic AMIGA experience. <3

tburger: Don't tell me you do NOT know MATT joystics from the old times....They were TOP NOTCH.
Of course hard to say if it is a REAL MATT that just laid in some kind of store or magazine.
I remember the Scorpion, and it wasn't top notch from my experience. It had the snazzy edgey looks, but handling and durability were on par with Quickjoys.;)

AAALSOOO
Does that Competition Pro come with both USB and DE9 plug?
[edit2]
Finally found some answers, apparently they're still shipped in one version USB of DE9, but then i found this thing on the English Amiga Board, which eliminates the lag. So, if anyone is interested in the USB version, but would also like to use it on a real machine, this may be handy.

I have no experience with Scorpion - had only their standard joystick. IIRC it was said that the rubber contacts MATT used were more durable than micro switches - I don't know how much truth was in it...All in all I had my C64 for some years and MATT joystick never failed me ... Cheap, plain design, durable, Made in Poland – just the way I like :-P

I bought that same stick some time ago. It's pretty nifty, but I haven't used it that much actually.

Sorry, no. At the end of the day, it's all down to which joystick you personally had for your C64/Amiga/Both. For me it was The Arcade, although I also remember the Wico Command Control stick fondly.
