2 different machines. Both are IE, but one is WinXP runnibg IE 7 . The other is Win 7 running IE 8. Others have told me they are having issues, with firefox, and Chrome. This is their poor website programming. The pulldown bars for the credit card expirations dont work, and some links are inaccessible. I can no longer add Icewind Dale to my shopping cart .

Update: I have even resorted to trying to order over my Nintendo WII's internet channel. Still cannot pull down month/year on CC. Cant use quick links in top right to open messages. ( Must go into account profile, or forums and see which topics you recently discussed in.

I am no amateur. Last week, I bought my 100th game here. Even IT had checkout problems, as in no receipt. They sent me an email explaining that was a bug and all future purchases would have receipts. Normally I wouldnt mind, but when there is no screen telling you if the order went through, how much you were actually charged... to whom done the billing services... thats a major problem, as there is no proof of ordering, until a bank statement comes 40 days later.

This new issue, where you cant even pull down the month/year, add items to carts already containing items... is flat out POOR "end-of-beta-we-are-in-full-release" mode engineering. I could wait it out, but by the time support comes in, takes 2-5 days to fix the issue, this 3 day weekend promo of 50% off will be over.

I give up. 3 different browsers, none work. Wii's Opera, IE 7, IE 8. The latter I use FOR SECURITY over Netscape and Firefox. From what I understand, firefox isnt working for a lot.

Any tips? I'm cross-posting this into a new topic as well. Already emailed support twice.

No, unfortunately, I don't have any more helpful ideas; fortunately, I haven't yet encountered such a problem.
And that's true, GOG should REALLY get back in shape; this whole mess about transaction problems doesn't bode well for their non-beta image.
(At one point in the past, they prolonged a promo because of payment problems; they may or may not do so this time, but would be nice if they did.)

Downloaded firefox and problem fixed (was using IE before).

4 games from weekend's promo were on my wish list, but I set myself a limit: $10/week on gog. Finally I decided to but MOO1-2 and I-WAR Deluxe. I-War 2 and Outcast - still wait for their turn (hopefully I'll be able to get them on Christmas Sale – for this occasion I’ll put limit on-hold :-)

hmm i am also unable to buy this time. The checkout page is a mess (things are posted over each other) and it doesn't seem to register that it isn't a gift or that I want to pay with paypal.

EDIT: okay it worked. It had something to do with a compatibility settings of internet explorer

When I went to the promo list page I was even shocked that I didn't buy a SINGLE game from Atari, 'cause I was already contemplating buying Total Annihilation, the Master of Orion series (Didn't notice the 3rd was here! Maybe a result of ignorance!), and the Independence War series in one single order. But what stopped me from doing so some time ago was the full ~$10 price of IW 2: Edge of Chaos, and the fact that the Australian dollar (which is in my favour) was appreciating against the US dollar, so I was waiting for it. Surprised at all that this promo came so soon!

I'd be okay with this, except for the fact that I just bought MoO/MoO2 a few days ago. That's really the only major games I'm seeing that I'd want, tbh.

It's a good deal, but most of them aren't the kind of games I'm into. I bought the 2 Blood games for a lesser discount.
