I´ve already sent an email, but they might not respond it before the end of the promo.

So, what kind of DRM are they talking about when the DRM of a game is listed as "other DRM"?
From my experience it usually is a serial code for the game. Like in Amnesia for example.
You might wanna tweet them. They respond faster there. I think Angie is in charge of their public relationships, she's quite active there.

Back on the question, it means that its some kind of DRM that's not generally used, like some developer-made DRM client, a locally-checked serial number, and similar stuff.

It may also include limited activation schemes imposed by lesser known forms of DRM. So it's definitely worth looking into. But most of the time it is just a serial as stated.
I have the feeling that often for Gamersgate "other DRM" often means "we have no clue what DRM it uses". If you are lucky it can means DRM-free like for some Paradox games or it can means anything else.

Every time I've seen that listed and bought the game, it's a serial key. Sometime just one you enter in to the game client to unlock it locally, sometimes a one time activation. It just means that it isn't a 'brand name' DRM.
Seems like it really is just a serial key.

I just bought Cities XL Standard. Gonna try it in the next few days to see if contains anything else.
Does anyone know what kind of DRM is used in Sword of the Stars Complete which is on sale atm? I hope it's just a serial.

I bought Sword of the Stars Ultimate from GG and it just asked for a serial inside the game IIRC.
