Forgive my ignorence... but when i saw the images of the newly releaced ArmA: Cold War Assault I can't help but feel that i am looking at Operation Flashpoint. Is this the same game or a sequel... or a different game that uses the same mechanics?

A: CWA is version 1.99 and contains both Cold War Crisis and Resistance campaigns
last version of OFP: R was 1.96 ... so it's replacement and upgrade in one

Bohemia Interactive and Codemasters had a fallout, where Codemasters kept the name and Bohemia kept the game, so they had to give it a name change.
