With the release the highly anticipated Duke Nukem Forever being right behind the corner we figured out it's about time to give everyone who haven't finished the awesome Duke Nukem 3D one more chance. And if we're discounting Duke we decided to launch a promo on all Apogee games including Rise of the Triad, Duke's adventures on Manhattan and the space struggles of Blake Stone. So if you buy the whole pack or complete the collection of all Apogee games on GOG, you will receive a 50% discount! But if you're only interested in some of the games from this offer, you can grab them with a 20% discount. The promo ends on Monday, February 7 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Also if you want to play Duke 3D in a more modern way, check the mod spotlight we did some time ago on the best modifications for the game!

What's left to say is "let's kick ass, chew bubble gum" and "come get some".

Gragzo: Cool promo! :) I Will buy them all, except of "Duke Nukem 3D", which I own.

Anyway, as some people said, this games are still available at the 3D Realms/Apogee website. In other words, Apogee is still alive (well... sorta).
What is in fact dead is... Epic Megagames (not just "Epic"), so... what about ZZT, Jill Of The Jungle, Solar Winds, Xargon, Epic Pinball, Jazz Jackrabbit (1 and 2)?

For sure, many people drooled (just like me) when hearing about this titles.

-Peace
I'm pretty sure that Epic is still around, they're the same company made Unreal as made Jill of the Jungle.

And if you take a look at the following page, you'll note that they were founded in 1991. http://www.epicgames.com/about/

Maybe they're the same company historically, but they stopped being the same company in spirit about the time they dropped Megagames from the name (when it became all about the Unreal franchise, with Gears of War added later.)

caffinemasta: I'd like to see many more Apogee games on gog.com. Im mostly looking foward to Wacky Wheels and Commander Keen! since Biomenace is already free.
Commander Keen rights are actually owned by id Software... Unfortunatly id did'n jump into the GOG's adventure yet :( I mean, COME ON! what do they waithing for... They already have ported Doom 1/2 and Wolfenstein on every fucking platform ever made... I think it's time for them to re-releace their classics stuff on GOG!

Every one who's agree with me should go show their interest on id Software's faceboock page! http://www.facebook.com/#!/idsoftware
damn i shouldn't have spent all my money on that christmas steam thing, and gog.. you haven't gave me that free game even if i were there on the beta but with another account that got dead.... i am still shocked about that :(
Nothing for me this week... :-(. But on the other hand it's an excellent opportunity to add another Interplay title to my shelf... This week … yes … Fallout 2.
Many thanks for the promo! I grabbed all five and after more than a year, I have stopped being a freeloader on here!
I'd like to say that it's nice to have these promos and all but I did already own all I was interested in from what is currently available on GOG by Apogee/3D Realms. What I would really like to see is more of their games (as many others have been saying). A quick list of those I would like to see:

-The 2D Duke sidescrollers (Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem II)
-Crystal Caves
-Cosmo's Cosmic Adventures
-Hocus Pokus
-Paganitzu

And possibly others as well though those are the ones I remember from my childhood and would LOVE to play again. I'm not getting them from 3D Realms' website because I don't like their download policy on it. Would it please be possible to make a 2D Apogee games set including these? or even individually (or by 2s) would be nice.

I can't blame you for that. I suspect that Mr. Gog is already working on those games, or that it's hit a dead end.
