This really only concerns the website. I think. Can customers check their "in-store" pre-orders from the website?

Anyway, one of the pre-orders I have in my Order History used to have a "Ships On" date tacked onto it, right under where it says "Status - Pre-order". And now it doesn't. This is usually indicative of an item that's been backordered. However, when I went to check the item's page, I saw that the "Ships on" date was removed from there as well. Are the two connected? Can I still expect not to get shafted?

I got this reply to an email I sent to GameStop, thought you guys might like to see it.

"Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for contacting GameStop.com.

We do understand that there may be some confusion regarding a backorder status when you log into your account. Basically this shows the current status of the item and does not specifically apply to your order. We are currently out of stock of this item but not at the time your order was placed. We have fulfilled our allotment of this item for pre-orders. This backordered status will not affect pre-orders, only new orders that are placed after the release date.

We have reviewed your specific order and do not anticipate any issues fulfilling your order for the shipping date, as this was pre-ordered before the backordered status.

Of course if you have any further questions or concerns please let us know and we will do our best to assist you further.

Best Regards,
