Im looking at the M11X mainly for battery, I dont game too much but would REALLY like to complete some games that i own.

Anyway how does it handle 3D games? Im getting a pretty basic model with the 1.3ghz sandy bridge dual core i3 CPU and i would guess it has a Nvidia 540M, Now the graphics im not too worried about but the CPU I am as its only combined 2.6ghz

Wondering if aquanox would work on highest settings and other 3D games (but not two worlds) Im guessing it will run isometric games fine
Sandy Bridge outperforms other architectures at equal clock speeds, so it's not as bad as it sounds. The 540M is OK for the less demanding range of 3D games. It's also not a large screen (1366x768), which reduces the CPU and GPU load by a lot. So middle-of-the-road 3D games is about where I think your rig would play.

I've been using an m11x (R1) for a fairly long time now. I've been extremely happy with how it performs battery wise while playing older games, and how well it can play newer games (the R1 has a GT 335M). The only game I have that I would deem unplayable on my m11x is The Witcher 2, even with the settings as low as it can be set. But it plays something like Deus Ex: HR quite well on it's default settings.

Unless you plan to hook it up to a massive display all the time I think you'll be happy with how it performs with old games and even newer ones.
Is there any modern computer running Windows that could not, with brilliance, run any and all GOGs you throw at it?

As Mike noted above, The Witcher 2 is going to prove to be the exception to the rule here too. But yeah, I know what you mean. Any 'real' GOG isn't going to have any problems performance-wise at least. You might have other problems. But they won't be to do with the speed of the system.
