I love Cheat Engine and i've never had any problems getting it to work with my games. Today, i tried to use it on Sacred Gold and NOTHING. Anyone know why? I'm not doing anything fancy, i just want to give myself 9 million gold coins. Its usually very simple with my other games, but it wont work on Sacred Gold. Thanks.

BTW, the reason i use it is because i HATE farming/grinding in games for money :)

What exactly do you mean it doesn't work? Does it give you an error message? Is it having trouble opening the memory or scanning? Or is it not saving the changes after you've made them?

You should be more specific, in what search mode you used. Some games use integer values, others like Double, and in a rare case, text. Other times, they obfuscate things by adding extra digits, like 10 gold pieces is considered to be a value of 100 in coding terms. RPGmaker VX doubles values and adds +1 to that.

I haven't tried using this yet, so I don't guarantee the safety or effectiveness of it, but there is an trainer that was built for Sacred Gold (GOG edition), here is the link to the page.

Eh... I think i used that a loooong time ago. Anyway i suggest you start by searching for "everything" then buy something cheap (for a gold or two) and then just put the search on "value was lowered (or whatever it say)" then search... Buy something, search, buy something search and so on. you could also "sell" something (value was increased). After a while you should find the formula... It might be things like a extra 0 or that it do "current value x#" or even "current value x # + #" and so on.

In my case, I like to get my stuff by beating unique challenges, such as the puzzles in a Zelda game. However, killing kobold minion #582,581 to get enough gold for the latest gear is rather boring for me.
