Having wept over the fact that M$ turned AoE2 into a friggin mobile stragedy game (pun intended), and that for some reason, we don't have AoE1 or 2 on GOG, I found the linked video. The game is supposedly inspired by AoE2 (obviously) and since the community is more flexible to balance changes than the current aoc community, I think this may turn out to be a success story, hopefully. Everyone's views and opinions pwease!

There must've been at least six topics for 0 A.D over the course of the past several years and it was mentioned in every 'Free Games' topic of which there have been.. three?
So old hat for me.
And I actually heard about it before then back in the day when I checked indie game news sites and Linux news sites.

Since when is the 500BC-500AD timeperiod called medieval?

Apologies everyone, I just assumed since it was inspired by AoE2 that it would be medieval. But I think its an interesting game nontheless. Its free,so download if you want and maybe we can help the devs develop it further. One of the few RTSs that are being worked on today anyway, so IMO its worth a look at.

On a different topic, yes. I like Rise of Nations and AoE games tons as well as Stronghold.

Still worth trying out I think, dwnlding now. 10 years is long but who cares, lol.

No, it's steamed, I want it on GOG.

STEAMROLLED. Anyway, if you're facing a compatibility problem, there's a UserPatch to fix it. But MP is still laggy because of the old netcode.
