Bloodygoodgames: Boxed copies in Bangkok. Technically, they were more expensive (around $10 and $15 I think?), but I've been buying computer games from a dealer at a local mall- for eons who stamps a card every time you buy a game. One full card gives you 300 baht off your next purchase of games (about $10). I had two full cards to use so picked up Settlers 7 and Krater for a very cheap price. I also bought the two Harry Potter Lego games and Dungeon Defenders from him as well. (very happy about Krater, as it's only available download for Steam, and I won't use Steam).
Neobr10: I didn't know that there was a DRM-free version of Krater. I thought it used Steamworks. Oh well, i wish physical games were that cheap here in Brasil. PC games are ok, but console games are insanely expensive. New releases go for around 100 dollars on stores. Nice, uh?
Seriously, dammit! I looked forever to see if that was Steamworks free and was under the exact same impression as you.
orcishgamer: Ultima 9? Isn't that about on the same level as MoO3?
SimonG: I don't know, I never played it. For better or worse, it is part of gaming history and worth being in my "collection".
And I will buy MoO 3 here someday. I had
some fun with it when it game out. I won't buy it for ten bucks, however.
Just to be clear, it's a part of gaming history like... oh you know what, that's tasteless, even for me:)
