like at garage sales or other places? Today I picked up some obscure stuff that will probably be crap, but for 4 bucks I didn't mind taking the chance. :) I got another copy of Freddi Fish 3 (not sure why, since my bro has another disc, but it's classic!), Cap'n Crunch's Crunchline Adventure (with 250 free hours of AOL! Whoa), Don Bluth's Space Ace (from like '93), and one of those "thousands of crappy games on one disc" pack.

Anyone else had any similar experiences, good or bad?
Well I was in Tesco, and just thought I might look at the videogames they have there... Well guess what I found, Fallout! Yes, the original Fallout, with the awesome manual, beautiful CD inside, everything, for the price of horrible 5 bucks!
About six years ago I went to a garage sale and bought Syberia for $1.00. I played the game and have been hooked ever since. I have bought some great games but GOG has given me access to many classic games that I might never have found or would have taken years to find. Now if I can only find Grim Fandango at my next garage sale!!
Warcraft 3 Battle Chest @ Goodwill i picked up for a dollar. It only had one of the discs, but the keys were taped onto the jewel case and I was able to register them on Battle.net

I also got a SEGA Dreamcast with two controllers and four games at a yard sale for a measly $10.

Oh yeah and I once got about 24 PS3 games that were relatively new on craigslist for only a $100 one time (resold them all and made a good profit).
This year alone I have found some pretty good games from Goodwill. The games that I found were Police Quest SWAT, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 Triple Thrill Pack, Virtual Springfield, Company of Heroes (Not old, but cool to find nonetheless), Microsoft Fury 3, Unreal, Unreal II: The Awakening, Myst Masterpiece Edition, Thief: The Dark Project in the original Trapezoid box, Return to Castle Wolfenstein Game of the Year Edition, Unreal Tournament, Oddworld Abe's Exoddus, Far Cry, and Eternam which was pretty odd considering that Eternam is a pretty obscure game and hard to find.
