I don't have many games (less than 25 including free ones), but there's something calming to me about looking at my shelf.

Especially organizing things in manual sorting. I love it. Not a dig at Steam, but it would be so much better for the Steam library if they had this kind of drag/drop manual sorting into different categories.
Not really, but I love looking at my OneNote file. :p

Deleting a line after I complete a game gives me such a nice feeling. :) "You can finish the backlog, Angel, you can do it!" :D
I have even less games but like with games bought irl there is something about looking at them :P
Indeed

Next step: Virtual 3D Library with "Big Boxes" that we all know and love :)
Of course. I find it so relaxing.

My one idea would be to have two zoom levels for the shelf. I wouldn't mind having more boxes per row if they were smaller. Or maybe the shelf width could be increased.

LOL, I just love this damn shelf. I spent 10 min earlier just messing around with manual sorting.
I... I lost my manually sorted order in the great GOG site update...
haven't been able to move on... to manually sort it again..

Permutation Betty, how I miss you..

DON'T SHOOT. *Puts hands on head*

Anyway, yeah, I do think the shelf is very nice. I wish Steam had an option to display as a shelf instead of a list.
The GOG shelf is sexy.
