check out Orcs and Elves

it's a really cool dungeon crawler from ID software, I enjoyed it

I also enjoyed Orcs and Elves. Hmm...uh...yeah, there isn't such an animal. Aside from a scant few like the forementioned Dark Spire, which is definitely a niche title, it's all Japanese RPG's for a Japanese system played by and large by those who are already fond of JRPG's.

And why on earth would anyone recommend The World Ends With You to someone with this OP? That game is so JRPG-anime style, every time I turn it on my hair goes all spiky and I'm overwhelmed by angst. I traded that sucker for Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and haven't yet regretted it.
