Usually when a game is designed/optimized for a certain monitor aspect ratio and someone tries to run the game in a resolution that matches a ratio the game isn't optimized/designed to work well(or at all) with you'll get those black bars.

No, it's not black bars, The whole game is designed so that the area that you're not in, if you're inside, is black around the top, bottom, sides etc. I HATE it, HATE it, HATE it, as it makes for an ugly game where half of your computer screen is black. (see video link :)

I tend not to buy games that are designed like this, but.....Nox looks too good to pass up :)

No problems here also on windows 7, 64bit.

It's actually a great game. Many people compare it with diablo 2, but i has a really own feel. I think most games in the genre are diablo 2 clones and you get a reskin of diablo, but nox is different.

Currently playing as a warrior and having a lot of problems in the wizard area. Some are really strong and they run really fast so i getting hit alot and am unable to hit them. The game is different to for every class.

It shouldn't be that tough. Just use your bumrush action/skill. ;) That is if you've gotten that far yet. I'm not entirely sure when that gets unlocked.

I think it's one of the first warrior skills you get. Haven't played for awhile so can't remember 100%. But yeah, it's great for dealing with the wizards.

Great game, if you are interested after checking it out, I would suggest get it, you wont be disappointed.

Very nice h&s game. Totally different classes, you play each one differently, and I believe they even have different stories? At least at the beginning.

Really recommend that, very fun to play, colorful, etc etc.

I enjoyed Nox, short at around 12 -13 hrs of game play iirc. I kept it installed because of the "Solo Quest" option. Great for a little H&S action on the fly. The Solo is basically access to mini-games and gave me something to play when I had a small amount of time to kill (no pun intended)

A really good hack and slash rpg with some good humour mixed in. Music is also excellent.
