Quite a bit of the younger developing crowd nowadays are taking the pacifist stance as well and you can find a lot of their works on Desura:

Here's a clever one where 80% of the charm is the British narrator making up the story as the game moves along

OMG - they got Danny Wallace to do the narration on that. He's amazing - he's a comedian, a writer, a narrator, an actor and on and on - and a phenomenally funny guy. He also did voice over for Assassins Creed 2 (I think?)

Awesome guy. That makes Thomas Was Alone a must buy for me (plus the game looks darn fun) - thanks for the heads up on that!!!
I'll throw in another vote for Tropico. Namely 4, which builds on the success on the third game, which in turn was a complete and total improvement over the first game.

Daynov: Fallout: New Vegas can also be completed without killing anyone, although I wouldn't say it's particularly pacifist-friendly.
Are you sure? I got a lot of unavoidable random hostile spawns and some minor quests mislead you.

Does anyone remember Technocop ? I sometimes used only the "net pistol". But again, some missions and boss fights demanded a kill, I think (you were given instructions on thether you had to capture your target dead or alive or either). I loved Technocop.

Yeah, a no-kill playthrough is a valid path to completion.

Yeah, you're welcome - I'm grabbing it too after this Summer Sale is over. The voice overs in just that small promotion were very well done.

It makes me wonder if Wallace ad-libbed this whole thing while playing his first time run.

LOL, wouldn't be surprised.

He really is incredible - he's one of those guys that is involved in everything and bloody good at everything he does.
