Hi there - since there's all this RPG love goin' on these days, I'd like to ask someone in the know just what are the chances of Nox coming to GOG.com? It was a cult classic in its day which has been all but forgotten, except by a few of course...

That was a pretty good game! I don't know if they can talk EA into putting the game on sale here though.

NOX wasn't pretty good, it was amazing.

Well there was nothing truly ground breaking in it it managed to be extremely fun to play and engage you until the end.

It came up earlier this week in another thread and it got tons of love, I'd say it has a shot based on that. But as always worldwide rights and same price everywhere will decide the matter.

Nox was the first Diablo spin-off wasn't it?

I had it but it went in the closet when Diablo 2 hit shelves.

There were a lot of Diablo clones but I don't think I'd characterize NOX as one.

AFAIK it was a Westwood game, thus is in EA's back catalogue. While I'd never say never, firstly you have to get EA to join GOG (or at the very least show some intrest in their catalogue beyond freewareing Command & Conquers and selling Sim City 3 again.
