Yeah, it was pretty funny, and thanks god the only advertisements we have to put up with on this site are the weekly deals.

darknath: GS: "do you want disc protection for this"?
It's a damn shame they didn't mean 'copy protection'. If that was optional we'd be getting somewhere.

disc protection? like a jewel case? or some kind insurance policy if you scratch or break your cd/dvd?

The latter. They only seem to offer it for console games here.

I never bother with it - the chances of one of the few console game disks I have getting scratched or broken are quite low.

Profanity: Speaking of GoG... The first time I turned on the forums was only yesterday, but I gotta say, this community is amazing. The only comparison could be made with Telltale's community, I really can't think of any place else that could be even close.

So many horrible communities, I must say something when I find a different one.

I was hoping to start a profanity meme, but looks like it didn't take off :(
We have a couple of Gamestops here in Ireland

This is the absolute worst Gamestore I have ever visited, I never ever shop there

how on earth did this chain get so big in the US I have absolutely no idea...
This is the complete opposite of what happens when I shop at a retail game store. Then again, maybe I'm not as willing to make an ass of myself and fly off the handle when purchasing a game.

(I might be kinda biased because I know the people who work at the Gamestops in my area. Seriously, a lot of Gamestop workers are total bros once you get to know them. At least, the ones in my area are.)
My first Gamestop experience was Friday. I walzted in and got Skyrim (without a preorder ). Was in and out in about two minutes. All in all a positive experience.

Profanity: I feel used and abused.
Are we now doing that Reddit thing where people create alternate accounts with relevant user names?

I could curse a lot, if that would help.

It's not uncommon for a holder of such name to end his sentences with unfiltered, unrelated, out of context profanity.

Fuckity Fuck.
Kinda reminds me of a tee shirt about Tourettes, that I saw awhile ago.

What do we want?

A CURE FOR TOURETTES!

When do we want it?

Cunt.
