VABlitz: -I would rather see my avatar next to the account, so I can tell that I am logged in.
-Bring back the colorful GOG logo.
These two points are definitely on my wishlist as well. Still, the overall design seems nice enough.

I find it strange that, seeing as the site redesign and the addition of movies came at the same time, in the preview videos for the movies, the GOG.COM logo that comes up at the end is still the colorful one. If you're going to suck all of the color out of your site design, shouldn't that be applied across all uses of the brand?
Add me to the people who don't like the new color scheme
I just noticed even the icon for the site bookmark in my browser is a depressing black and white.

Why do you hate colour so much all of a sudden guys?
Oh, guys, there are two color schemes to choose from, I've noticed only now!

- muddy snow
- snowy mud ( muddy snow's negative photo)

Hopefully, there will be more in future!
I will rather have a mutated radioactive killertuna from Fukushima eating my balls while still attached to my body instead of the new gog layout :)

What a concept. I really dislike the fact they removed the prices from your wishlist. That's just some more total bullshit. Enough people get pissed off, they will start using the abandonware sites, resume pirating through torrents, and last but not least go elsewhere.

One simple statement of dissatisfaction. This new look is shit. It looks like shit, it performs mostly like shit, so I suppose it really is shit.

I cant stand this new look gog , so the only way It seems I can protest is with my wallet, gog just don't seem to give a fuck about what long time users think of this crap. So a sad choice for me to have to make. So I wont be using gog from now on. Ffs even desura looks more appealing than this appalling shitty mess.

Of course I will be back if they come to their senses and listen to their users. Sadly I think its the old case of we are so big now users don't matter anymore.

I hate the new look as much as anyone, but that is a little extreme to me.

I can understand him I was at the same point several times already when looking at this website but at the end I decided to stay and hope that they will improve the website at least a bit in accordance to all the feeback they get.

I've definitely thought of leaving. Not because the website is hideous, which I could live with, but because I don't feel that GOG is treating our concerns respectfully. Except for a few things that are incontrovertibly bugs, they've completely refused to acknowledge any of the feedback they've gotten. A single post, "We know a lot of our customers don't like this or that, but we made those changes because whatever, and hope you understand why we won't be changing it back" would improve my mood a lot. I'm still holding out hope for at least that much.

I wouldn't count on much since GDoc called gog forum users conservatives in this post: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/movie_release_us_and_the_game_industry/post34

Well, there was a post buried in one of these complaint threads that said something to the effect that only the "most conservative" customers post in the forums. Apparently they've been getting rave reviews from, I dunno, customers that don't communicate?

Whatev.

The bottom line is they paid somebody a lot of money to create this dull, flat piece of shit layout, and by god, now they have to stick with it.

[EDIT] Wow, amazing Ninja job, Matruchus.

It seems we were on the same wavelength there :)

I respect your opinion , and yes maybe it is a little extreme , but gog.com is going down hill fast , it is no longer site I know and loved. I used to look forward to coming home every day and browsing the market place and checking out all the interesting things on the forums... but now ? I just don't care anymore the new site is shit and even Desura looks better now than this appalling shitty mess ... extreme ? Maybe .... vote with my wallet ? ... for definite. ;)
Truthfully, the more frequent I come browse, and shop here? The worse the experience becomes. I keep finding stuff I just don't like. From whomever designed this mess, they need to actually listen to the complaints that they're receiving. Not put your head in the sand and think "your" design choices were for the betterment of the website. Even a simple change like taking the prices out of one's wishlist? Ok, if you're not purchasing items here, but a pain in the butt for people that are. Another simple example. Searching for "games" that are on sale? Right. You get everything but the kitchen sink when you try that. It's just not an all-around global bunch of changes gradually, but all-at-once. It's not like getting grazed by a car while walking. It's a full blown head on strike that nearly kills you. Not a single thought of "easing" users into these changes? I'm sure it would've been much better received s_l_o_w_l_y. I don't really know, but I would be willing to wager a small bet that GOG's sales have suffered recently because of the total overhaul in such a short time. Of course that's just my opinion and we all know that we're all entitled to one. I know because of my personal frustration? I'll be shopping elsewhere, DRM free or not. At the very least I won't have to muddle through this rat's-nest of junk to even try and find what I'm searching for in a "game". Lastly? Let's not even mention the "Movie" aspect that's been added recently.
