Hey guys!
Courtesy of the awesome GoGer Navagon, I ended up with some spare cash (thanks again for the gift, man!). Since the gift of giving is contagious and I would probably feel guilty otherwise, here's a free GoG. Not so fast, though! I want to make it fun, so first you gotta guess a few things and then decode a message to get the last part of the giftcode. It shouldn't be too hard if you know your games :)

Each question is about a letter from the gift code. After you guess them all, remember to put a '-' after every 4 letters. The encoded message contains the last four letters of the code. Additionaly, every game mentioned in the questions/riddles is in the GoG catalogue.

So, without further ado, here's the riddles and whatnots:

1. The first letter of a very popular shooter released in 1998 by a company whose name, shortened, used to be EMG. The company has since dropped one word from their name.
2. Fifth letter of the name of an underrated game about a kid with supernatural powers from the company that is now making a game about dolls.
3. Third letter of a game about a detective in the future who lives in San Francisco. The first and second game are sold in a bundle and used to be free here for some time.
4. Third letter of a game about a female photographer fighting against government conspiracy.

5. Number of years GoG will have been functioning after New Year's.
6. Second letter of an underwater shooter, whose sequel is also for sale here.
7. Fifth letter of the name of the game about a scientist with a ferrari. A special edition of it is sold on GoG.
8. Sixth letter of the game which is sold in a bundle with its sequel, consists of 3 words, is an economic strategy game and was release at the same time Outcast was. Oh and the abbreviation sounds funny...

9. The first letter of the name of a company that makes great RPGs. Also the first letter of a certain D&D game they made. The one with the hamster.
10. The first letter of the name of the game about a badass (after which the name was also named). A new game featuring him is taking FOREVER to be made...
11. The last letter of the name of a game about a girl travelling between two worlds - one of magic and one of science. In case you STILL don't know what I'm talking about, the girl was an art student.
12. Last letter of a game accused of ripping off Halo. Its story was written by a famous sci-fi writer. Also, it was supposed to be a trilogy but, sadly, it didn't even get a sequel.

As for the last four letters, here's an encoded message:
546865206c6173742070617274206f66207468652067696674636f64652069733a2055574b47

If you decode it and get all the previous answers right, Arx Fatalis is yours!

Have fun and Merry Christmas :)
Yay thanks! You're right, not too difficult at all :).
So you got it? Just want to make sure the code was claimed :)

Yup, thanks again!
Great, hope you enjoy it (although I thought it would take a bit more time for someone to claim) :)
Could you give us the solution ? Because I don't get the final encoded message...
