Games definitely don't have to have plots to be games, case in point, Dragon Age 2.

hedwards: Quite possibly, but by the same token, the reviewer was correct about Manic Digger though, I haven't actually played it, but the screen shots look suspiciously similar to Minecraft. And they've even re-implemented mine carts in a recent version.

More likely it's hyperbole.
That review is merely a (very poor) attempt at comedy.

btw, Manic Digger started out as a 3rd party client for classic Minecraft and later on turned into a Minecraft clone. Currently it's pretty much dead in the water and going nowhere fast.

I get the impression that this YT channel is a piss-take. I hope.

I like Angry Birds, for what it's worth - I have it on PSP because it's the only platform I own that it's out for. It's fun, simple and a perfectly decent way to pass a few minutes to an hour.

I thought it'd be terrible before I actually played it, but it's not, it's quite fun. Nothing exceptional, but the level design is pretty good, and I laughed a little at the ridiculous cutscenes.

Also, what I did there was steretyping, not racism. If I was making a racist claim, I would say that all Chinese people stink. Naming a list of things that chinese people tend to do, or have tended to do throughout history is actually only barely stereotyping. I am good like that, since I was educated in a proper western school, the same ones that chinese students abuse, and then fly back home to reap the rewards of a Canadian/US subsidized education :)
