Greetings!
I already posted in the gamespecific forum, but there seems to be little activity, so I'm trying my luck here as the problem should be rather general.

I'm currently trying to run Realms of Arcania 1 on my Acer Iconia B1 (Jelly Bean 1.4.1) with Dosbox Turbo (relative tracking mouse). The issue I encounter is rather annoying. When I set the double tap action to right click it works just fine, but when I try to assign it as double left click I can not open the character layout (it seems to register as single mouse click). Has anybody managed to solve this issue, or would have some helpful hints for me?

[Yes, I'm aware that GOG does not support this, but I count on the friendly fantastic community and I haven't received response from the Dosbox Turbo developer yet]

Thank you in advance!
I do not use Dosbox on my android, but what happens when you just hold down for a longer time, instead of just double tapping.
I do run ScummVM, and in that you have to hold down a longer time to get different results in some games.
is there no way you can reassign the action to cause double lick?
in some normal android applications right click option wont work and i wonder using something such as Dosbox Turbo if you could reassign a gesture or something?
You can reassign the Right Click to a two finger action, then double clicking will give you to left mouse clicks. The two finger action is a little awkward at first but once you get the timing right it's not so bad.

Nothing special. There's an extra option to enable that as continuous mouse click, but regardless of the setting, it has no influence on the outcome, since the game would require a double left click, not left and hold.

Freudian typo missing the 'c'? ~grins~
Joke aside, that is exactly what I do. (For a better understanding see the developer's page. I assign double tap as double left click, which is the only possible option (for some reason you can not assign double left click as action for two finger or single tap action).

Quote:
'Gesture Mapping (for Touchscreen Mouse):

Single Tap Action - A single tap on the touchscreen. Can be configured to trigger (nothing, left click or right click). Defaults to LEFT CLICK.
Double Tap Action - A quick double tap on the touchscreen. Can be configured to trigger (nothing, left click, right click or left double click). Defaults to RIGHT CLICK.
Two Finger Action - Place first finger on screen, and quickly tap with a 2nd finger. Can be configured to trigger (nothing, left click or right click). Defaults to NONE.
Enable Long Press - Enable this option if you want to be able to hold the button after you perform any gesture above. For example, with this option enabled, if you double tap, and hold on the 2nd click, it will hold the right mouse button down.'

Right click works just fine though, regardless if I set it up as two finger or double tap. Double left click is what's causing me the problems.

Been there, done that, didn't work.
