Would be cool to see this freebie on GOG, it's a pretty underrated DOS game.

Hmm...never heard of this before. Certainly looks intriguing, especially in network co-op mode.

Will give this a try later.

+1 for the heads-up.

I saw this earlier on Vogons and anyone seeing that link should give the game a shot, it is pretty fun.
I remember years ago reading a review about it on Abandonia saying that the graphics are rather bad for the year 1997 standard and they do take some enjoyment from the game, but really who can argue with that price? Thanks for the link :-)
If anyone is interested, ADG did a review of this game a while back.

So it's an FPP rogue?

EDIT

If Amulets and Armor is available, when will we get Swords and Sandals?

EDIT 2

Actually it reminds me of Might and Magic 6... kinda

yep
I wish GOG hosted more freeware. There are some oldies that are getting forgotten and deserve more. God of Thunder and Inner Worlds comes to my mind. More freebies would also be a nice incentive for new customers.

This is a DOS game. Extract and run with DOSBox (leave all DOSBox settings at their defaults).

There is a basic description of the mounting process on their wiki, if you're not sufficiently familiar with DOSBox.

My issue was more to do with unable to actually download it. After a few goes it downloaded now:)

Indeed, if it's at least a decent game. But unfortunately I don't think GOG wants to "babysit" freeware titles when they aren't making any money off them. (Though they have Warsaw - wut?)
I just ran it on XP SP3 without the dosbox by accident and it worked fine there too.
A mission-based RPG/FPS in a fantasy setting using Doom or very Doom-like engine. I think, I've beaten one level there once.

Great. Finally that game has a chance to shine.

It sold less than 100 copies when it came out, which is why practically no one ever heard of it. A GOG package would be nice, though.
