liquidsnakehpks: strange, but i have got my code through the contest on amd , i had to sent in a few details on which they sent the unique id which in turn gave the cd key , so i have proof in case valve decides to remove it,

Foxhack: I got it via a Brazilian contest that had me answer a quick quiz, that gave me a code that I redeemed at AMD's promo site, which then gave me a Steam key.

So... I have no idea if I'll have my key deleted.

Also, some posts at the Steam forums say that the keys were stolen since June
same thing but this contest was for india.. will they notify or something if the game is removed or it will be just removed ?

Apparently the game is being removed from people's accounts, but who knows. So far I haven't been affected. Maybe we're safe?

If the publisher wants the games removed, then they'll do so - but that's it.

Seems like STEAM has started removing Dirt 3 from accounts.

yep they have removed dirt 3 fake keys, restart the client and check the library ...phew my dirt 3 safe
