Very cool, thanks for posting. Let's all hope these cards come out on time and they don't get into another manufacturing Charlie Foxtrot like they did with the 6xxx.
28nm... That's good. 7870 doesn't seem so bad. Wish there was an easy way to upgrade laptop GPUs.

What happened with the external GPUs? Have they been released?

GAAARFLAGLIBBLEH!!! I just upgraded to the 6970. Literally. Like, "just last night" literally. Less than 24hrs ago. It's GPU is factory OC'd to 940MHz, so I'm that much ahead of what is now "low-end".
known fake btw AMD already says they are not using XDR2

another way to know it's fake is there is no fab in the world making XDR2 :P

XDR2 has been vaporware for years (since at least 2005). Even if GlobalFoundries gets its act together and starts producing XDR2, Samsung's 28nm GDDR5 will probably have better availability. Performance of the cards may still be close to the "leaked" specs.

These cards were supposed to be in production back in May. AMD's designers deserve better than another typical ATI/TSMC Charlie Foxtrot.

Specs looking way too good to be true. I'd like to have HD7850 if it's real.
