Hey GOG, I am about to pre-order both, Sleeping Dogs LE, and AC III, (Both for PC) from Amazon UK, and I was wondering how that worked, the total for that from UK is 50 euros, and 60 CAD, so I was wondering if I would get charged the full $100 I would get charged for ordering it from the Canadian site, or if they would even deliver to Canada.

Thanks
Amazon UK does not use Euro currency...

You will be charged the Amazon UK price if you order from Amazon UK regardless of where you live. Amazon UK does not detect your location and force you to pay the local (in your case, Amazon.ca) price. I've ordered UK editions of albums from Amazon UK multiple times and not had any problems with the site. Amazon UK itself does ship to other countries, but some of the marketplace sellers do not. Shipping to the United States, for example, is reasonable in price and relatively fast for international shipping. Also, Amazon UK offers the option to pay in your local currency at checkout.

For easy conversion and comparison:

Google "convert GBP to CAD". Before the search results, Google provides a simple conversion tool. Just type the amount in the GBP box, and then the CAD box will display the converted amount. Compare with prices on the Canadian site.

Don't forget to deduct the VAT amount from the UK price, as foreigners don't pay it. I think it's currently 25%, so reduce the total amount by a fifth.

To find out your actual total, put the items in your cart and go through the process up to confirmation. You should be able to change your currency to Canadian Dollars, and it will show the VAT-free total.

Be careful what you write. Yes, you're talking to a Canadian, and he may not have to pay it, but not all foreigners are that lucky, and others may be reading this. People from all other EU countries do have to pay English VAT when buying from amazon.co.uk.
