xxxIndyxxx: I actually am not sure i want that... Maybe for flight simulator or something, but it's a firm believe of me that since games are trying to be more realistic (graphics and gameplay) the games are getting worse (at least way less fun to me).... I don't care that in real live i can only carry 2 guns, in real life i couldn't kill the entire enemy army either..(just one out of many examples)
For racing games and flight sims where you are sitting in a fixed position in-game analog to your fixed position in front of your computer, I'd certainly like photorealism. But when games have unrealistic arcade stuff like you crash into a concrete pillar at full speed and your photorealistic looking car bounces off with just the wind shield braking or when you can run and jump off rooftops without dying, that's so awkward and immersion breaking that in such cases I'd rather have less realistic or even cartoony graphics that fit with the less realistic/cartoony physics.
To summarize: I only want more realism in graphics if it fits with the gameplay. If the gameplay is going to be unrealistic cartoon stuff, then I prefer unrealistic cartoon graphics that go along with that. Everything else just results in super awkwardness.
