Viddler was getting some traction, but really, with youtube's recent 'improvements', I'd like to know if there's someone out there with the clout to steal the carrot.

Are the changes to the home page really that bad?

No.

After doing a quick browse through of the new design im pretty pleased. I don't use YouTube too terribly often so I always have trouble tracking down the features that Im trying to use. Now it seems that they are exactly where I expect they should be. Plus its a lot prettier. It seems like it may be an actual improvement and not just the added bloat that Facebook is so fond of.
