FraterPerdurabo: Loving the game thus far, but:
1) The controls are really shitty. Smells of a bad port.
2) Hacking. What in the shitting crack?

Drakhyrr: Well, it *is* a bad port. If you're not using an X360 controller yet, you should. I usually try not to use it in games that require aiming, but in this one, I had to.
oh

That might be a dealbreaker for me.

I played it with keyboard and mouse and didn't have much trouble (though the hacking minigame does get some time to get used to). Just remember that it's not a shooter. It's an RPG. So while headshots deal increased damage, and will eventually instakill, don't be surprised when all your aiming progress doesn't help you.

jefequeso: I've been considering getting this one for awhile. Many people have recommended it. I'm not sure whether it would be too "RPGy" for me though.
You can play it as a shooter if you use assault rifles, my second play was as a gruff (dialogue choices) merc with a machine gun, it was quite cathartic after playing as a charming James Bond pistol type, I wouldnt let the RPG aspect disuade you, as long as you remember you cant run n gun at level 1, like you would at the start of CoD.

I played the 360 version, so I dont know about M/KB controls.

Unique Selling Point...game has probably the hottest female characters ever :)

Think Deus Ex as third person shooter for an idea of the RPG-ness. Like Deus Ex, an untrained weapon will be horribly inaccurate unless you take time to aim, but you can basically just play it like a shooter if you put points into Assault Rifle or Shotgun and Toughness.
Pity I let all the sales pass without buying it :(. Whh, well. I have plenty of other games for now.

And the best sex scene ever.
Pfft, unless you want a dumbed down Gears of War-esque cover.shooter, Mass Effect II/III are great. If you want an RPG, in fact, the true successor to KOTOR, you will play Mass Effect I as a self-contained game. Remember, BiowarEA made the two sequels, not Bioware.

Disagree... though since we're going down this road I may as well rank them :P

Sis (I really wish they would've extended her backstory/role in the game...) > Scarlett > Mina > Sie > Madison

Bumping because... Alpha Protocol!

Anyone played with the intent to piss absolutely everyone off? I haven't yet (though I think I will in my next playthrough)... but the interaction between Madison and Mike in the last scene in the apartment... quite funny!

(Not taken from that scene...)

Madison: Asshole.
Mike: Bitch.

Better than hearing "Anything on the news?" umpteen times at least! :P

Oh yes.....

Mike: "Ugh, I miss Moscow."

Damn, I wasn't even planning on it, but now I feel like going through AP again, in Pacifist mode.
The way I see it I'll be going in with assault rifles and a shoot first ask questions afterwards... as well as deliberately choosing all the opposite responses at AP that I usually use... so uh... the complete opposite of how I usually play it (stealthy / pistols / getting positive rep with NPCs)
