A genre that is perhaps the most underrepresented at the moment on GOG is pirate/age of sail genre. Aside from Port Royale games there aren't really any games from that genre on sale. It would be wonderful if that situation could somehow be fixed.
The games, that i'd like to see on GOG one day:
Sid Meier's Pirates! (both the classic and the 2004 version)
Pirates! Gold
Akella's pirate and age of sail games (Age of Sail, Age of Sail 2, Sea Dogs, Pirates of the Caribbean (originally Sea Dogs 2), Age of Pirates, Age of Pirates 2)
High Seas Trader
Sea Legends
That's nice. See you when you read this.

I know about the wishlist and i use it whenever i think of a game that i feel should be on GOG. What i was hoping when i created the topic was to spark some discussion on the genre, not a lecture on forum policy from another user.
There's a great bit about Pirates! from the CRPG Addict here:

Well in that case, you could join in the already existing discussions by using the rather helpful search tool. Try looking for "beg thread" or "I want this game to be on GOG" etc. There are hundreds of them.

Also, the search sucks so you may unfortunately need to use the mouse and some patience.
You forgot Uncharted Waters 2, IMHO the best Age of Sail game.

Thanks for your suggestion. I was aware of this series, but i had never tried any games from it. Are the rest of the games in the series also worth trying?

Only UW1 and UW2. UW2 is the gem and adds alot of content, gameplay. Don't bother with the rest.

Old Koei games have always been truly epic.
