realy. please put games in catalogue multilanguage.....
GOG would need to renegotiate with the rights holder to get the appropriate licenses. GOG has probably decided that the price is not worth the potential gain.

Could be because they only get worldwide licenses. Some of the languages could be licensed exclusively to a regional publisher. Other stores have regional restrictions, GOG not.

I wouldn't really wait for it. AFAIK GOG has never added a language after a release.
Oh well. I guess we just have to get accustomed to the thought that DotEmu is the shop to get your DRM-free games from if you want multi-language support, and for whatever reason GOG is not aiming at rivaling those guys.

It would certainly help though if GOG would do a special FAQ article on multi-language support, finally shedding some light on their side of things and explaining their difficulties or priorities, so we could stop speculating. So far it seems they prefer to remain silent and not to comment on any complaints about lacking multi-language support. They'll have their reasons for this approach, but it's not suited to generate sympathy and insight.

Prince of Persia is from Ubisoft, at least the titles since 1995 were (Not sure about any more recent or the handheld titles). They tend to release a couple of different languages with their games.

What is extremely weird is that games which were from a time that was predominantly retail sales usually had a "european version" with plenty of languages. If GOG would simply put a little bit more money on the table for those licenses.

That is probably also why some game have "unofficial multi-language". They are the European version and the pub never bothered removing the other languages.
