Hi all. I should probably ask this over at the Steam forums, but this place is more friendly!

I have a physical copy of Neversoft's GUN and noticed Steam also has the title. I want to activate it on Steam (mostly so I don't have to bother with the discs), but my copy does not appear to have a product key. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Unfortunately, there's no way to do that.

Here is the list of games that can be activated on Steam:

Note that usually buying a game from another DD service, such as GamersGate or Direct2Drive, will not give you a Steam-accepted cd-key, though that's not always the case.

Hmmm...too bad. Well, it's not really that big a deal to mess with the discs.

Thanks Dragobr for the info and the link!
No problem =)
