Was very excited when I saw that the Activision catalog was coming to GOG.
What are the chances that Mechwarrior 2 and maybe it's expansion(ghost bears legacy) will make an appearance? I loved that game. I even have the old Dos versions. However, they are a b*tch to get to work on the newer OS's properly with the "redbook" audio playing(music was awesome). Sure hope they can pull this off. Is so, it's a definite buy for me.

Let's hope GOG gets to pick the games from Activision's library. There's a lot of good games in there which they assimilated from other companies so hopefully we'll see more soon. If GOG sold the Sierra collections (Space Quest, Police Quest, etc.) I'd buy them for sure even though I already own them.

As much as those games need the GOG treatment (especially the titanium versions), MW2 contains at least 4 Unseens: Warhammer IIc, Marauder IIc, Rifleman IIc, and Battlemaster. So, I have my doubts of them ever getting re-released :(

By "Unseens" do you mean carbon copy ripoffs of Macross mechs?

Speaking of Sierra... I could go for Rama, Shivers, Phantasmagoria, and Quest For Glory V as well as all the old collections.....

Might as well go with EVERY GAME EVER MADE by Sierra, since they're not in business at all. SWAT 3 perhaps?

No Shivers is a game completely on its own. The first isn't that good but the second is quite enjoyable. They're both a hell of a lot better than Phantasmagoria though.

the mechwarrior license seems so horrendously completely messed up that the odds have to be pretty low.
Then again, with that new company trying to make a new mechwarrior game, maybe they'd welcome a deal splitting the profits with activision.
I'd love to play Mech2:Mercs... but I've heard it's a bitch to get working.. plus there seem to be a billion versions, all with different flaws.
So, let's just get Interstate '76 instead. It's mechwarrior with 70s muscle cars and funky music... what could be better!
