As for the new design, I'm still adjusting. TBH, losing bunch of great games is a lot worse than the new grey, lifeless look.

How much different is GOG's exchange rate from the real one? Google says its 0.76 now (it was 0.73 last time I checked)

The new look is mostly nice! Very weird change. I feel that they should just return the functionality they've taken away (come on, search bar! also other stuff) and maybe make the logo become colorful when hovered by the mouse so at least we can recognize the brand we have known.

Also, in game pages: maybe the moving of information (genre, developer) from the header to the sidebar is less user friendly. And they don't feature the box art (hum, installer… packaging… art?) in game pages anymore! Also that little ticker that told you how long the download was going to take.

As long as they make it as functional and friendly as before, I'm sure color is minor. Also: GOG was already gray before, in most places it is now! They just had gradients instead of stark colors. That's more likely the problem we have here.

I mean, it's more interesting for me to pay in € than in $, no matter the exchange rate is (real or GOG one). But if I continue to pay in $, IDK if the real exchange rate is applied (0,76) instead of the GOG one if I pay in € ?

As I wrote it several times before. I liked old colorful design much more. It made me feel comfortably and evoked friendly atmosphere. But this metallic gray template is similar to every second eshop and have feelings from it like "we-care-just-about-your-money-not-about-you".

I have to say I'm liking the new site because it's easier on the eyes with all the grey. Now if GoG could remove the blue from the Facebook and Twitter buttons, the Red from the YouTube button and the yellow from the RSS as well as the other small bits of color it would help avoid distraction...

But seriously, there are parts I like. I like the organization of the front page for example, think it will be better when I get more used to it. By moving the Browse games function to pages (instead of just a very long list which loads slowly as you move down the page is a vast improvement. The removal of color from the GoG logo bothers me and I'd like the color back on the updates/replies button as well as other areas I think is a mistake that is easily remedied. So all in all, I think its "ok" but will be better after some tweaks in response to community concerns.

I'm a bit hesitant regarding the GOG's new clothes. Too little colour, too wonky. But I shall wait and see what come of it once the transition period is over.
