QC: ...but I guess if you're set on it throw it into the GOG wishlist under features.
So... uh... vote with your wallet?
It mystifies me that people don't trust credit card companies, but they trust PayPal. PayPal's practices are in line with some of the worst behaved of the credit card issuers.

Credit card issuers are typically at least real banks, whereas PayPal is a payment transfer agent or something like that. They assume ownership of the money until they choose to transfer it on. And are typically a real PITA for merchants to work with.

I thought about getting a PayPal account, but holy crap the horror stories I hear. Take a look at all the wonderful reviews this service has recieved in the comment section.

Those horror stories sure scare a lot of people. But I don't have many option available and the transaction is in small amount (less than $100) so I can always avoid the problems like when they freeze my money during big transaction or other stuff.

Credit Card is still a problem, in my country credit card companies/banks are infamous for how bad they handling the unpaid credits. Banks will hire thugs, some of them are moronic or stupid enough they sometimes terrorize the wrong person.

The worst part? there was a case where Citibank hire some thugs to "rough up" a creditor so he will pay his late fees. The old man died of his injuries in their Citibank office and it became a big news for a while.

Credit card companies, scums of the earth.

In that context I can see why you'd rather deal with PayPal, they're corrupt and evil, but I've never heard of them sending out thugs to beat people up.

But, yeah, they'll freeze even small amounts, I had my account frozen over a pretty small amount a while back, I think it was like $5 or so. And it was a real PITA to get it unfrozen, I could easily have not been able to do it until I returned to the US next year.

I think it mostly depends on the country. But yeah, "majority" of them its not so nice and can not be trusted enough to not read all this "small texts" in their offers.
