No matter which track I choose, I cannot replicate the stuttering on my Intel Socket 775 chipset. It does mess up my Windows 7 Aero though.

yea, I do actually remember now that I got the same thing with the warez version I used to play in '98 :p

It's no big deal tho, afaik all that the championship does is unlock new tracks and you can just use cheat code for that..but still, it's weird :p

It might not seem like a big deal, but this means the game is kinda broken. There must be a way to fix this. I haven't played the championship yet, but as I recall, this message showing up won't let you advance on the game. And as much as cheat codes will let you have the same advantages, you have to enter them every time you start the game.

maybe the solution to this is making a image of a older win98/me/xp with a vmware
workstation and installing there all your favorite old games and run all them on the
virtual machine, but like all know this soft is good but NOT FREE, you can try out for
30 days but anyways when trial periods end, you still can mount and play with the S.O.
images and your games with any of this free vm image soft :

Vmware Player or VirtualBox

This are free vm image players and you can use all the time you need, just
mount and run your fav old games in the virtual machine with and old S.O and fun.

I get the lag / slowdowns too.

Seems like it's the dust cloud behind the bike that is ultra slow to render, so whenever I skid it lags. Would be brilliant if they could be disabled without reducing the detail for the rest of the graphics...
