EA is here on GOG.
Westwood studios is no more...

but maybe in next lineup from EA on GOG we could have some westwood goodies [along with Kyrandia trilogy and lands of lore trilogy]!

as far as i know and remember - at the begining we had Dune 2.
later in golden CD - era they bring us Dune 2000. remake tha i like [despite of not so nice sprites of units].
third in the series was full 3D RTS Emperor: battle for dune. i love it. still i have box and cd's with tha game and cd with soundrack [great tunes!]

so if it could happen some day EA and GOG - it would be VERY nice to see Dune2+Dune2000 and Emperor:BFD here on gog. where these titles belongs.

in ideal world where we have on GOG ability to buy Amiga kickstart and games i'd love to see Amiga version of Dune 2 [music, intro, samples]
GameX and GameY will be released on GOG in Z amount of time.

Is this a cunning hint we're going to see Z on GOG! I'd better start a new thread asking for that!

Nice conclusion. But I am afraid that he was talking about games X and Y, not Z sadly.. :(

I see, so we're going to see the game X at the same time we see Z?

I do not know, but I think "Game" is also part of the title as its first letter is capitalized.
Never played Dune but I would love to change it...make it happen GOG...please :)

these are RTS. If you like adventure with some strategy elements you should definitly try out this Dune someday.
CD version of that game has improved GFX [rendered landscapes instead of drawn in oldschool way] and clips from David Lynch's Dune movie.
I know this would never happen, but I would totally love to see a Sega Genesis port dump here on GOG in it's full DRM-free glory. The music, the colour palette (heck even the controls!) are huge nostalgic points for me. It wasn't super tough (I remember falling into a stalemate once), but it was certainly a good enough experience to have me pumped for the sequels if GoG could pick those up too. I even hear the original non-RTS was good.

Dang, I miss managing those tricky Sonic Tank formations!
