It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

grainne6: I've been having this problem for a couple of months too. Sometimes a page won't load at all, but more often it won't finish loading - I can see most things on the page but some images are missing.
Changing browers or using a different computer makes no difference.
It doesn't matter much but it's odd because it never used to happen and no it does all the time.

mgruchal: Does the problem appear while using SSL connection (My account) ?
No - My account always loads slowly but it all shows up correctly. It really seems to just effect the forum

elbaz: The last two or three days the GOG site has been loading oddly. Parts of the page come up immediately while other parts take forever if they show up at all. Every so often, everything loads just fine. I notice that it seems to hang when it reports that the browser is "Connecting to static01(or a variety of other numbers).gog.com." I've done the normal browser clean-up steps and still am having problems. Any thoughts?
I had this same problem for a few days last week. The graphical elements of the website wouldn't load and I could only see the text elements (which also prevented me from logging into my account since the login button is a graphic). The browser kept saying "Connecting to staticXX.gog.com" while trying to load the page. I tried different browsers and different computers with the same results. I emailed GOG support about this problem, but didn't receive a reply. Then the problem just disappeared after a few days. Since nobody had posted about it, I thought I was the only one affected.

Edit: I'm attaching a screenshot I took while I had these problems.

I saw the same thing briefly yesterday. A simple F5 cleared it up for me though.

This is what I was seeing. However today the site has loaded up quickly and with no errors. Just goes to show you as soon as you ask for help, things magically fix themselves...
Does the problem still occur?

sn1p3r: Does the problem still occur?
It is still happening to me. I took this screenshot to show what it looks like. This was after the page had been loading for around 3-4 minutes. I don't have problems with any other website and I have tried other browsers but nothing helps.

Yes, the problem started to recur and I'm seeing screens similar to those of grainne6 and spindown. It seems quite random, the homepage now loads very quickly and most of the time so do the forums (but not always). Attachments and the games catalogue appear very infrequently now. Still seems to be having problems connecting to "staticXX.gog.com" no matter what browser I'm using. Tomorrow I'll be at a completely different computer and I'll see what happens on that one.
