EDIT: And not forgetting all the awesome people who got involved in the Secret Santa events!
That's me, I changed my username ages ago. Between both identities I've gifted a little over twenty games, and have received about three or so, if I recall. I'm not sure how to check, but I do know that I received Stonekeep and Pinball Gold Pack as gifts from Hillsy_, I believe it was, and thewishingwell, respectively. Thanks a bunch you guys, they're great games.
I hope you've enjoyed the Betrayal at Krondor pack, Arteveld. It was just Betrayal at Krondor when I sent it to you. :P
I sent RowdyRodimus the Total Annihilation Commander Pack. For GameRager, The Temple of Elemental Evil and Ishar Compilation. nmillar got Freespace 2 and Master of Orion 1+2, Damuna received Temple of Elemental Evil, maxman43 got Duke Nukem 3D, ChaunceyK got Dream Pinball 3D (I hope you've enjoyed it a HELL of a lot more than I did. Bleh.), Betrayal at Krondor for Roman5, Fallout for Pheace, Manhattan Project for Magnus (I didn't care for that game), Septerra Core for park_84, Ground Control for Fujek, keeveek got Apache vs Havoc and Independence War.
I must have been feeling particularly generous last October, because I seem to have sent ne_zavarj Blood, Desperados, and Outcast, and later gave him Serious Sam: The First Encounter on my birthday earlier this year. sloganvirst received Far Cry, and the last gift I sent was in March, when I gave irawesome Call to Power 2 and Betrayal at Krondor.
I hope you're all enjoying those games as much as I've been. Once GOG returns to the halcyon days of >50% sales, I manage to upgrade the air mattress I've been sleeping on all year to a proper bed, and I get a new monitor and computer (Pentium 4 just doesn't cut it anymore), I hope to hold more contests and random acts of kindness again. I do miss that. It's been a pretty abysmal year, all told, but on the bright side, the lack of work has given me plenty of time to enjoy my growing GOG collection. ;)

Thanks to all gifters, of all kinds. The one thing I remind myself when I get pissed off at some of the offensive posts on here is how giving the community is.
There's something to be said for that. I don't know if it's the overall higher age bracket due to the majority of games on here being from the 90's and early 2000's, or if this place is just so awesome it makes each of us that little bit better of a person.
I've received a few gifts in my years here, I don't remember the details of who exactly gifted what, but I've appreciated every gift and hope to contribute in a more meaningful way when I get a new job.
Thanks again, gifters!

The giving community here is one of the things that makes GOG special. I haven't won anything yet, but I love all the excitement generated by people looking to put a smile on someone else's face.
Here's to you gifters!

As for me, thanks to pH7 who gifted me Divine Divinity and Antimateria for choosing me as one of two winners in his JA2 giveaway

This place is filled with so many awesome people, keep it up.
Just a bit of trivia about me, maybe you care or maybe you don't :)
Ever since I can remember, my parents told me to share. They said to me that whatever you own, you cannot take with you when you go. So as a child I had the tendency to give my toys, either loan them or just plain give them away (actually those two are the same for children). That gave me a real sense of happiness, satisfaction. You know, you get to see the other one's eyes bright up. The smile. -You- have given happiness, no matter how small, to someone else.
This is a personal trait I choose to keep. I could just discard it but I don't want to. Even when I'm playing co-op games with my friends, I give them stuff. I usually am the worst equipped character in every game, but I don't care. Even in WoW I gave out my money to random people, bought them mounts, equipment, whatever.
Maybe you think of me as a poor individual, idiot or something like that. Maybe I am, who knows. All I know that if by a simple GoG gift I can make someone's day better, it's worth it.
You only live once. Make the most of it.

I remember my first win was a giveaway done by Ballistic_Peanut. I was so grateful to receive The Longest Journey (a game I have wanted for a long time) and Indigo Prophecy! I think it is great that complete strangers put on a giveaway to a group of unknown people. I have only been in the community for a short time but my experience has been great. I hope one day I will be in a position to pay it forward.
