heres a question:

why arn't the graphics for the computer better then the graphics for consoles? i mean, the xbox 360 is like 7 years old by now, isn't it? why arnt there games coming out for the computer that wont run on xbox becuase the graphics are so much better? I mean, am i living in a cave? ARE there games that are suppirior to xbox'es?

Because new games are made with consoles in mind with bad field of vision.
Don't own xbox so hard to compare but if a game looks like crap it still needs a powerful machine to run it. Lazy bums.

There are very few PC-only games nowadays because the consoles are such a huge market. So normally games are made to run on all three platforms so as to not lose money. It's easier to do that in development than to attempt to port something TO consoles later. Most games that come out for a console and PCs will look better on a decent PC with a decent card, so it's not exactly like PC tech has been stagnating this whole time. If you really want super-duper-maximum-resolution, you're going to get that on a PC. When the next generation of consoles comes out, I expect we're going to see a very sharp increase in video quality as developers aren't beholden to the old standards anymore.
