It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Using google.pl with Ad-Block turned on for Google Chrome. When I google 7zip, I only get the Polish version of 7zip's site (7-zip.org.pl) and then the global official site (7-zip.org). Looks like it's some sort of adware/malware that your friend accidentally downloaded due to the ad0laden link looking very much like the real thing.

I would recommend that he uninstall the program completely using the Add/Remove Programs item in the Control Panel and then running CCleaner on top of that to remove any registry links left behind by the program...and run a quick virus scan on top of that :D

tarangwydion: I don't understand. When I googled for 7-Zip, it takes me straight to the source:
http://www.7-zip.org/
Turn off Ad-Block Plus and try it without it :D

tarangwydion: I disabled the Ad-Block Plus, restarted the browser, searched for it, and it is still the same?
Hmmm. I did the same with Chrome and it showed only the official site as the first link. Maybe certain browsers are smarter than others? I don't exactly know :D
