Psyringe: Michael Moore would have access to a better camera though. ;)
Yes he would. Still I feel badly for him though. I had hoped I was the only person in the world stuck looking like this.

A better camera would be nice right now, because folks have asked that I post pics of my new, first ever, self-built rig. And I would love to. But I simply can't seem to maneuver things right with laptop (which is a HUGE laptop-17.3 inch screen) so that the camera is pointing at the laptop AND I can see the screen to be able to click on "take a snapshot".

I've tried a couple of times. And it's just too bulky. I'm still trying to get my son or someone to come over . lol, if my son needed money, he'd be here. So, guess I shouldn't complain too much about him not stopping by this weekend to take some photos.

I would love to post pics of it though. Cause IMO it looks AWESOME. Glad I picked the case I picked. It looks great, and it made building it much easier because there was so much room inside to work (and I've got big fat fingers lol).
Yeah, webcams and laptop cams are not very well suited for shooting photos. Most smartphones have become pretty decent at it though, so if you know someone who has one, then that might be a solution.

Glad you're happy with your build. :)

The Unofficial DVD Covers for GOG.com games was the first topic i fav'd on this site. Sadly, my printer now loves to leave blots and i couldn't find appropriate glossy paper for it anyway.
Can't wait for [affordable] home 3d printers, and some 3d models for USB memory covers. ;)
Well damn, that made me drool. I shall totally follow in Your footsteps when I'm done with this thesis nonsense, my good man.
+1 jealous admirer!
Those look very good!

OldFatGuy: . . .
Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated. . . =)

BTW, the paper I recommend for these covers is a "photo quality" inkjet paper similar to this Epson paper. Only one side is for printing and it bright white with a matte finish. Unlike the glossy papers it will bend nicely around the spine without cracking.

One hundred sheet pack will last a long time. I find it on sale around here 2 packs for the price of one from time to time so I rarely have to replenish and it works great for cheap reproduction of images for color testing or flyers without the high cost of "real" photo paper.

Thanks again for the kind words . . . =)

Thank you again sir! (I'm guessing "resident old man" makes you a sir, lol)

I've had family members and friends look at them and swear I bought them.

And thank you for the recomendation of that paper. Since I purchased all of this, I'm going to keep using this till it runs out, but then I'm gonna give that kind of paper a go. Just looking I felt like perhaps the quality could be improved a little, although IMO they still look GREAT.

And I couldn't believe how EASY it was thanks to you guys setting it up. It took ONE adjustment on my margins, and they've been printing perfectly ever since.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH AGAIN.

ADDED IN EDIT: Doh! I forgot I didn't include a picture of the back!!!! What a moron. totally forgot. The backs look great too.

here's Gorky 17 and Beneath a Steal Sky, but as usual I've got them tilted in such a way, or something, that's causing the lighting and reflection to obscure and blur what they really look like. They look great on the back too IMO.
