1) Lionheart
2) So many other good games out there
3) Will do
4) As long as there is no time limit ;-)
5) Most certainly
1) I have never played Planescape: Torment.

2) I've never played it since it was a game which was very hard to find in my country. I would love to play it because it is considered as one of the best games ever made. Also, I am of the opinion that the game has a very cool atmosphere.

3) I can start playing it as soon as I finish Jagged Alliance 2+expansions. I can, however, definitely update you with my thoughts sooner or later.

4) I finish almost all the games I start. That is why I have to beat Jagged Alliance 2 first :)

5) Just started a halloween gift topic! ;)

1) Fallout: Tactics
2) I never played it because I didn't even know it existed until recently, and I haven't gotten around to buying it yet. I want to play it, because I recently picked up Fallout one and three, and I would like to continue expanding my adventures in the Fallout universe. I also like tactical combat games, and that combined with fallout's universe and rpg elements sounds awesome. Also, I want the extras that come with the gog version, especially the soundtrack.
3) I'll be sure to do this
4) As long as I don't only have one week or something, will do.
5) I held a contest a few days ago
Leaving work now, should be home in an hour or so. If anyone else would like to grab a spot before I make my decision now would be the time.

Thanks

KickingSquid: Ok, here's my entry.

1)Baldur's Gate

2)I didn't have a computer when this came out, had a chance to buy it for my XBOX, didn't for some stupid reason, and want to experience what a 'real' Bioware game is after playing KOTOR, Jade Empire and Mass Effect 1.

Aliasalpha: The xbox version of baldurs gate was nothing like the proper BG from what I've read
The Dark Alliance for consoles is nothing like the PC version
Hey there, really nice of you to give a game for free! This community is amazing!
I'm entering this *contest* because money is really tight at the moment and since I have two months off from work (I got cut like many others) I'd love to have 1 more game to keep me occupied.

1) I would choose Arcanum (heard great stuff about it)
2) I never played it because when I was younger I never really got into video games. Reading in general was my world hehe. ive heard many great things about this game and its right up my alley with what seems an awesome story and great gameplay.

Like every game I play I always finish them (even though they are horrible)

Thanks again!

3)A blogged update by a 'newbie' to BG would be fun to write, and seems a fair payment.

4)Only my or my computer's death would prevent this. Would that be an acceptable reason to 'quit? ;-)

5)I just finished some contracts, so when they pay my invoices, I was intending to do this anyway.

Thank you for the contest, and I wish everybody luck.
Thats a wrap! You win.

Congrats KickingSquid! Kudos for the contest nosajkeram!
Hokey-F-ing-Smokes!!! Thanks, nosajkeram, I've sent you an email, go ahead and remove your address before you get spammed.
Should be all good to go. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Baldur's Gate is truly a classic and holds a special place in my gamers heart. I actually just tossed out my original sleeve that held the 5 discs the game shipped in.

Thank you, again, nosajkeram. I'm about to download, guess I'll see y'all in 2-3 weeks! ;-)

What do y'all think? Is anyone besides nosajkeram and me interested in a newbie's journey through Baldur's Gate? If so, I guess I can start a blog in the BG forum.
'grats KickingSquid! have fun in Baldur's gate!
