wpegg: Incidentally dude, passed this on my walk today, guess you'll be seeing a lot of it...

Sorry guys, had to be done ;)
Major bummer for him :(
triplets, 2 jobs & uni? Is this that 'having a life' thing I've read about? If so, you're welcome to it mate!

You'll be back though, they ALL come back

Except the ones that don't but they don't count
Good bye and good luck on all your future adventures.

Goodbye and good luck. Hope everything works out for you. Don't forget the reason for winter break, spring break and summer vacation is so you have the time to play a game now and then.
Good luck with your new endeavors. Hope you'll manage to find a little free time to fire up a gog every now and again.
Congratulations and good luck! We never talked but you always seemed like a classy fella to me. :)
CONGRATS on the busy life. I hope things work out well for you! Check in on us now and then, (you know when the boss is not looking.) See ya around.

Bit of a life overdose there if you ask me.
I haven't had the pleasure to converse with you, Chauncey. However, you seem like a well meaning enough person. It is always a joy to see someone succeed. Especially after a long period of doubt and ill-fortune. May you make the best of your new found opportunity. God speed.
Good luck with your future :) Best wishes :)
Congrats and best of luck! :)

ChaunceyK: I've enjoyed the hell out of GOG for the last 2+ years. I had a revival of my old gaming days playing Might & Magic and the Sierra "Quest" adventures, and I got to finish some games I barely tinkered with when they first came out, like Fallout.

I've made it no secret (although I also haven't harped on it) that I've been out of work for most of my 2 years here, and that playing these games was my personal "escape" time when not looking for work & caring for my newborn triplets (they're gonna be 2 years old in December).

And while I wouldn't say I've made any genuine "friends" here (aside from my job situation & triplets, I haven't shared a whole lot more on my personal life), I have made a good number of acquaintances who I've either admired, respected, or both.

I've gifted games, I've received games. I've enjoyed sharing "gaming talk" and other stuff too, like when I was searching for an mp3 player that fit my exact needs. Alot of people have been really great during my time here, whether it was interacting directly with me or just being cool to each other.

I've finally gotten back to work recently (2 part time jobs) and I've started going back to college (starting my 5th week now), and I just haven't got as much time to spend on GOG. That, and I've gotten most games that I either had or wanted from my younger days, so alot of the new releases just aren't interesting to me. But I am staying on the GOG mailing list, just in case some of those gems that I used to love but haven't been GOG-ified yet do end up here.

And on that note, I say thank you to everyone here...GOG users & GOG staff...for a tremendous past 2 years. I love the community (despite the occasional arguments) and I love the business model. I'll probably show up every now & then, even if just to read some threads & not actually post, but I just wanted to make sure I said "thank you" before fading off into the sunset.
Best wishes from the whole GOG.com team, we'll do our best to keep you informed about us in the newsletters! ;)
Good luck, have fun, and thanks again for Arcanum. Salute!
Congratulations and all the best!
