I'm watching Breaking Bad season 3, just got a $4 bottle of white wine and I'm lovin' it. Seriously, that wine from North Melbourne's IGA beats a LOT of other wines hands down. No label but fuck me, it IS good, and I grew up on wine due to my dad being a cheap wine buff.

Nearly finished the whole bottle and feeling the Christmas cheer. Interesting.

Please tell me you guys watch Breaking Bad. God but that show somehow manages to keep consistently topping itself with sheer OMFG insanity and hilarity.

And yeah I'm drunk. Cheap drunk.

I don't watch whatever that show is, I don't have broadcast TV so unless it's on Netflix I don't see it.

Drunk is good, I'm drunk most days when not at work or taking care of my daughter. It made me not want to throw my controller after finishing TFU2 in 6 hours.

As far as wine goes I'm not that into it, I can only drink dry whites which are unpopular here in the states (you can find them, I usually have to pay 10-14 bucks a bottle for one that doesn't taste horrid though).

I just bought a bottle of 12 year, single malt scotch last night. I was expecting more out of it, but it's not bad. If I'm not drinking beer I usually do scotch.

I saw breaking bad season 1, then they stopped showing it over in the UK as far as I'm aware so not been able to watch the rest of them yet.

Nah, I just got divorced. I really do drink quite a bit more than usual right now. Soon enough shit'll be better and I'll be back to 1-2 beers with dinner.

Found these the other day and reading them I found myself nodding a lot. Just kicked out a girl from my room (long story) and she ticks nearly every one of the 75 unhappy list. *shudders*

Anyway, I'm a scotch on the rocks man. But I don't really drink and yeah. Plus $4?!?! That's less than a pint of beer man! So yeah, I just felt "Fuck it." last night and went up the road, bought it and drank it.

Breaking Bad is SERIOUSLY awesome. I can't recommend it enough. I NEVER watch actual TV - I just buy the DVDs or if they don't have subtitles, download them. No ADs thank you very much - if I'm going to watch something I want to WATCH IT.

We call it "Four buck Chuck" here, usually from Trader Joe's, and I'm a fanboy too.

Also a huge fan of Breaking Bad. Like orcishgamer, I don't own a television, but at least the first two seasons are out on DVD. This will probably be my next DVD buy. They're good enough that I want to keep them.

Heard good things about Mad Men!!! Give me a good reason why its excellent and I'll get it.

BTW Breaking Bad season 3 is already out and they're working on season 4. Season 3... Well... Just may rival the first two for OMFGWTFWHEEEEEE!!!! factor.
For once, a show that doesn't start off with a bang then end up whimpering miserably as the writers and actors start trying to pull shit out of thin air. No, this has a GOOD plot. Goddamn but I love this shit. It's almost Sopranos-esque as in you actually really start to care for each character (except that fuckhead wife of the cop - but in season 3 you actually kind of go "oh, she ain't so bad" and that's huge) and you recognise WHY they do shit if you watch the first two in order.

SO GOOD.

Truest to life characters I've ever seen in a show, aside from maybe Six Feet Under. Maybe truer since all those characters really want is to be dead. I like to think most depressed people can't possibly be that depressing.
