Sounds good. I would suggest avoiding "Yes AND No" answers, these are sort of a waste of a question, and don't lead us really in any direction. What I'm trying to say is, they are too inconclusive, especially if it's something to do with fictional characters.
OK, but what should happen when the answer can be either one? If I stick to just a solid yes/no and the question can be logically answered the other way people will still get annoyed at the end because it threw them off :)

I added this exactly because there was such a situation in #1 (no one actually complained, but it still happened). I prefer to be on the safer side when such questions arise (and I don't really think it's a wasted question since it leaves something to think about (and provoking thinking and deducing is my main goal with this game) but the players will just have consider something like this can happen - it's part of the game :P )

Personally, I think this game is incredibly fun to play and read. I don't think you should worry too much about 100% correct answers. Misunderstandings are guaranteed to happen anyway. So let's just have fun! :)

As for the Witcher characters, I did consider them at some point too but dismissed them completely not only on the grounds of SF/fantasy, but rather after this answer:
Is it based on an English-language SF lit series?
Yes AND No

The Witcher is a Polish-language literature series and not all books have even been translated to English as far as I know. So I think the answer should have been a strict "No".

But this didn't make the game any less fun!

Concerning the "Yes AND No" answers, sometimes a question cannot be answered with a simple "Yes" or "No" unambiguously. One other option would be to decline answering a question. And maybe even leaving the question in the pool and letting the participant ask another one. However, this might make the game much longer in our world full of ambiguities.

Anyway, thanks for the game! I'll try not to miss the next one! :)

True, thinking about this, it can get confusing.

Looking back at the answers here:

It's a living being?
Yes AND no.

You said yes because Triss is a living being in the Witcher game, but no because she's not really a living being in real life right?

Same applies to this question:

QC: Is it man-made?
Yes AND no.

One thing that would probably solve this easily is to state if it's fictional or non-ficiton at the beginning of the rules.

These are the exact reasons why answered like this. In my revealing post I actually listed precisely those two questions and the basis for their asnwers :)

I'm considering giving some initial heads up. I think I'll have it like so in the next iteration, just to see if the game will become too easy or not. I'm sure that in a few rounds things will start to take form, everyone will learn from their mistakes and previous experience and the game will just get better :)
Regarding fictional characters, I'm inclined to stick with my suggestion of answering from an in-universe perspective.

You make a good point regarding characters that die at some point in the story, but I feel that they can be viewed as exceptions, and answered with "yes and no" or "there is no single answer to that", or something similar. Alternatively, you could perhaps take your perspective from the (current) end of the relevant series: characters that live through the story are "alive", and those that die at some point are "dead". (Those that die, then come back, would be "alive".)

You could start out with a statement that the character/object/etc. in question is fictional, but that does seem to remove one potential question. ;)

dedoporno: All my answers are (and will be) based on personal knowledge and when needed, additional research, but please note that there will be such cases, where mistakes will be made. I cannot avoid this, but I'll do my best to keep them as few as possible and I assure you those will be honest mistakes.
Of course! I don't speak for others, but I don't expect you to be perfect, and mistakes are not objectionable. I do apologise if I gave the impression that I was reproaching you! ^^;
