Cavalary: Butting in here but... excuse me???

Hoping it won't be, personally, but this current flame war is indeed providing every reason for that to happen... Though, at the same time, maybe not, depending on how GOG staff considers that it reflects on ZP. Personally I find it reflecting very badly on them. And that saddens me, because they do stick closer to what GOG used to be and I want them to do well and be(come) a noteworthy alternative. But there are... issues.

Syphon72: I would love an alternative DRM free store and for it to keep GOG more on its toes. GOG is not perfect, for sure. But ZOOM is handling this wrong by trying to make people hate GOG. I'm repeating myself, but they're blaming GOG for selling games they had for years before at a limited discount. Also, blaming GOG for what EA is doing to them. I lost a lot of respect for them and will think twice before buying from ZOOM. It just sucks the two DRM free stores acts like this.
itchio is cool too, more focused on indie games but a good option.
Zoom Platform is run by a bunch of angry manchildren with chips on their shoulders. Very unprofessional and leaves a very poor impression on other potential customers.

Look at their Discord and they can't stop whining and bitching about GOG. Their diehard zealots and their CEO actively wish for GOG's demise so they can take over and become the big fish of the DRM-free pond.

Timboli: ZOOM Platform are far from a credible threat to GOG, so leave them to their growing pains and move on.
I wish this was the case if T4T could kindly stop shilling out ZP everywhere he goes. He's literally in bed with their CEO and staff.

Not too far off when talking about T4T and the CEO. When I was on their discord the CEO lets everyone know he met T4T for some drinks and talking. After that T4T was made a mode for their discord.

Agree, just wish they would update their store page. Seem like mess to find games.

After reevaluating the thread I've decided to lock it. With links to another storefront, posts discussing their updates & contents, it feels like an out-of-place advertisement which I can't allow on the forum. If you want to talk about things going on at Zoom, you can do it on their platform.

Additionally, I would strongly advise everyone participating in unfriendly banters to carefully read our Code of Conduct once more. Antagonizing, insulting and being rude towards other users will not fly here. Next time I won't hesitate to ban without a warning.
