And today i realized, it probably won't release for pc.

PS4,PS5, Switch and XboX.

The game actually had me looking at Switch prices today. Just for fun of course. I also searched for cars and girlfriends.
300 euro's for Switch version you can hook to your telly. No OLED display, though i can't imagine gaming handheld any more. I'm way to settled for that kind of nonsense. I did wonder if this would mean that you can connect the switch to TV's and monitors alike. Also, i wouldn't mind trying out other Switch nonsense for a change. There's always been so much talk about that mini nintendo war game as being so good. Which I can't imagine btw but yea, if your country lacks proper digital war game material in its arsenal even sour fruit taste well. Oh, and astral chain, it had a nice trailer.

Another venue i've been exploring this day, next to cars women and drugs, i mean games - coughs, is that of the emulator market. I came across a topic discussing previous games of the developer, , namely 13 sentinels, and that Fit girl offered a repack. Much to my surprise, no alarm bells went off when i went off to visit Fit girls repack site. Not even as much as a squeak from my digital Norton safety advisor.
Apparently the repack comes with a preinstalled emulator.

Do any of you have any experience with emulators for the different consoles? Are they difficult to use?

Astral Chain and that uhm.... now i remember the title.... Advance Wars, were available, too. Though, i did not proceed with downloading any of those. I figure earlier named safety feature will probably intervene. Or so i imagine.
Oh also Fitgirl had a nice image of herself posted as welcome. Black dress and the same face as the Fitgirl promo includes. With a message how she has a lot of difficulty with keeping the Fitgirl dream alive. Any bitcoin pennies would be welcome etc etc.
Though i am morally opposed to what she stands for, i'm not ignorant enough to believe we live in an idyllic world. Maybe that is why i actually feel sympathetic to her, their cause.
But enough of duality. Unicorn something something was the title that got me hyped on youtube. Overlord! A high fantasy strategic rpg with many many companions and j-stuff that we can indulge ourselves in. At least. If you are in possession of machinery capable of delivering the experience.

Weird eh? At least i find it weird to be confronted with a multiplatform release with the PC left out. I truly hope the game will become a huge failure.
Such elitism should be handled with disdain right?!

As soon as I saw the title, I knew it was Unicorn Overlord. Yeah, it looks cool. Might grab it for Switch myself.
Vanillaware probably prefers bankruptcy than releasing one of their games on PC lol.
But yeah, it looks cool, as to emulators it depends on the system, the Switch emulator being one of the most finnicky but seeing as you downloaded a Fitgirl Repack, it's probably already set to be hassle free.
Mature emulators are quite easy to use these days. Some, like the Wii and Gamecube emulator Dolphin is just download and play, others may require a copyrighted file to work properly.Others, like the Ps1 require a Playstation BIOS file and the Switch and WiiU require games crypto keys. Those can only be be dumped from a working console by yourself, searching the internet for them is ilegal and considered piracy (whatever that means anyway).

The Switch can be connected to a TV except the Lite model, is called the Docked mode, don't expect a lot of visual bells and whistles from a cellphone level of hardware. More demanding games have a abysmal performance, as usual in any console.

Since we are on the topic of emulation, the new Switch emulator name is freaking amazing: SuYu

Thanks! Forgot about the name of the game. :P
Will probably get the game next week.

Pretty excited for Dragons Dogma 2 as well, Stellar Blade could be fun too...so might Rise of the Ronin.
Too many interesting titles are dropping within the next couple weeks. :D

Twitch Streamers got me jonsing for Balatro.
We have clickbait user posts now? :D
I had to scroll to the first reply to figure out which game you were even talking about.

Game hype is pointless. You will be disappointed.

Vanillaware games are pretty awesome. I keep checking Atlus' page on steam couple of times per year just to see if something of theirs won't show up unexpectedly. I remember reading that George Kamitani of Vanillaware wants to (or wanted to at some point at least) release some of their games on PC, but they don't have the capacity/resources/experience themselves to port it, so it would be up to 3rd party and publishing house to decide. Atlus might just prefer the current status quo. Maybe one day though...

Meanwhile emulators. Some are quite complex at first glance, but once you learn what's what and you set it up properly or per-game basis even, it's usually a better experience even on average modern pc than on low-powered console like switch. There are framerate hacks for many games, so you can do high res 60fps if your hardware allows it. Btw I too saw that fitgirl releases those packs bundled with emulators for popular console games, like demonsouls etc and in that particular case rpcs3 even supports online multiplayer. That's pretty neat for users who don't want to tinker much with settings I guess and it should run with minimal effort in sorta compatibility mode for most cases.

Anyway I see it like this: If they don't want money from the pc market, your money, my money, well too bad for them. I'm not going out of my way to but a decorative dust-collecting paperweight or 1trick pony for a couple of hundreds that I don't like nor want anyway. Not to mention supporting a stuck up corpo.

Zimerius: Youtube managed to get me 'hyped' about a game
Funny.
All, that YT manages to do for me, is pissing me off.

Yes, there are too many good games coming out right now, and too little time. I'm at the last chapter of Like a Dragon: IW now, so I might free up time soon, but still.. grinding out another 50 hours on the side content is tempting. I also bought Tekken 8 on release day, but I can only play a few matches at a time without getting salty.

I have it setup quite nicely. I think that these days i'm able to prevent falling into any bubble. Though, you always have to watch out for those 'dancin girls'. Before you know it, you have yet to deal with another invasion.
