MysterD: Is the turn based/real-time mode toggle a hot key on the keyboard or mouse that you can just hit while in the midst of the gameplay?

Or is this something you have to decide for the entire game before you start the game?

Or can you go through the menu options in a gameplay section (or somewhere in those section) and switch b/t the two modes over there?
It's an interface button, might have a key binding too, so you can change in under a second.
I now do easier fights in real time with pause (to get them over with faster) and harder ones in turn based.

That makes a ton of sense.

IIRC, Arcanum had a hot-key and you could change b/t the two modes (real and turn-based) on the fly, while playing.

EDIT:
I should check Pathfinder KM out, as I got it - IIRC and all - in one of those Humble Choice bundles. I just have been lazy and just haven't DL'ed it yet.

never realized how advantageous a high initiative character actually is, speed of action tends to fall away in the horrors of real time.. not to mention my archer hitting most of the shots, though this is a first time that i have a eldritch archer with a standard +1 weapon bonus right from the start and this happenend in the prelude meaning i might think different after a few real encounters etc etc .. still the other chars missed as much as i'm used too

never realized in dnd i mean ofc boots of speed are pretty obvious but ...

Hmm, though one. It would probably be:

1) Konami
2) Activision Blizzard
3) Bethesda
4) EA
5) Ubisoft
It is sad to realize that so many companies that made great games are no more
