Oh well, and I completely forgot about Kangaxx the Demilich in BG2. When I first encountered him, I had no internet and my knowledge of ADnD was zero. I went there completely blind and spent there more than 6 hours to find a tactic how to kill him!!!

The next BG2 playthrough I killed him with one hit with the Undead Killing mace (which name I don't remember anymore) crafted from the Ore you could get from quest. My reaction was like WTF!

In FF VII and X they're quite hard to beat.

Orcs, trolls, dark Jedi, Imperial bloody Star Destroyers with endless supplies of warheads:)
