What are your intentions for 2024, either good, absurd or pure evil?

mine are

Less gaming, but more titles finished, e.g. a less chaotic approach to any undertaking. (good)

Find a house (absurd)

Spend more time on personal health benefit activities (pure evil)

Pay down the rest of the house loan, work less overtime, then game like hell (true neutral).

Also drink more water and less alcohol (lawful good).

Leaving Los Angeles

An event last night cemented that this city -- even in one of the "nice" areas in which we live -- is too dangerous for a family. I won't go into what happened... but... I think almost anyone with a family and any means would say "get out of there" after last night.

I remember dreaming of moving here... now dreaming of leaving ASAP

Buy a house, a cabin, or at the very least move to a rental in a nice area. Now that I've paid off my car.

Do some traveling, it's been almost 10 years since my last vacation abroad. Maybe on a cruise ship around the Mediterranean. Maybe a rail vacation tour across Scotland, Wales or Ireland. Maybe a trip to China or Thailand.

Switch out my electric guitars for a synth.

Hello everyone!

My intentions for 2024...
well, first holding on to my 'good intentions' for a bit longer than in the preceeding years. (pure evil)
If everything goes relatively well, I would like to visit my relatives on the other side of the globe. (good)
Oh, and being less cynical overall... (absurd)

Lived near the city about 30 years ago. Had to move when a "Daily Murder Report" was a long list of everyone casually murdered that day, came up every evening on the nightly news. That. Is. Not. Normal. Truly shocking this is never talked about.

Oh, you mean in real life? In that case, relax and game more as 2022-2023 was pretty vacant in that area.

For me that was 5 years ago, and I've never looked back. Good luck, you're in for a ride, but it definitely pays off.
